Local data

Chrome storage holds saved Library and Brain records, captured source text and URL/title, preferences and account-session state. Non-secret preferences may use Chrome sync. Studio uses browser IndexedDB for scenes, source excerpts, versions, templates and unsaved drafts. The extension no longer asks for provider API keys or license activation. Existing local provider keys are removed on extension update. Provider credentials remain on the Infograph server.

A small bootstrap runs on ordinary web pages to provide capture controls. It does not collect your full browsing history. The larger engine loads after a capture or related interaction. User-enabled Live watches the selected page until paused or closed; accepting source updates does not itself send them to an AI model. Temporary Live capture records are removed when the session closes and old records are swept after 24 hours.

Cloud data

When you sign in or choose cloud features, Infograph uses Supabase Auth, Postgres and Storage in the Seoul region. Cloud records include account identity, saved scenes and sources, versions, team memberships and invitations, share snapshots, generated-media prompts/results and usage records. Login sessions persist locally until sign-out or expiry. Service administrators can manage accounts, limits, media jobs and shares; administrative changes are logged.

AI processing

Content leaves your device for processing or sharing when you choose an action that requires it, such as AI generation, image reading, cloud save, sharing or a configured Brain push. Signing in also exchanges account/session data. Opening a scene alone does not start media generation.

Infograph sends requested text to Google Gemini through OpenRouter. Models accessed through OpenRouter include Google Gemini for text and image reading, ByteDance Seedream for image generation, Black Forest Labs FLUX as a backup image model, HeyGen for video and OpenAI Luna for decisions, including each story's palette and look from its title and a short excerpt. ElevenLabs turns the story text you choose into speech for the voice-over in video exports and for Read aloud. Resend sends sign-up and password emails to your email address. Relevant text, selected images or generation prompts are relayed through the Infograph application server. These processors handle submitted data under their own policies; processing is not necessarily confined to Supabase's Seoul region. No provider keys are distributed in the extension.

Camera and images

The camera starts only after you choose Start camera and allow browser access. Audio is not requested. You review the captured photo before requesting image reading; the photo is sent only when you ask to read it. Taking a photo or closing the camera stops its tracks. Cancelling discards or stops local activity where supported; a provider may continue processing an already submitted request.

Sharing and generated media

Authorized team members can access their permitted team data. Anyone with an active share link can read its snapshot; source excerpts and media prompts are excluded by default. Generated media is private and served through signed links lasting five minutes. Revoking a share prevents new reads but cannot recall downloaded copies or immediately invalidate an already issued media link. Exports may contain the visual content you selected; JSON backups retain source data.

Deletion and control

You can remove local Library and Brain entries and manage saved scenes. Uninstalling clears extension-local data but does not delete cloud records or a separate web browser's Studio data. Account deletion removes the account and its owned cloud scene/media records and stored generated assets through the administrative deletion flow. Contact support to request account deletion; support email is hello@protibha.art. Aggregate usage accounting and administrative/security records may remain after account deletion; provider retention and previously downloaded/shared copies are separate. Do not rely on uninstalling as an account-deletion request.

Data use

Infograph does not sell captured data, add advertising analytics or add cross-site tracking. To improve the product, Infograph uses PostHog (PostHog Cloud US) for first-party product analytics: pages viewed, clicks and feature use, errors, and the model, token counts, timing and cost of AI requests, linked to your account ID and email when you are signed in. On the website you choose Accept or Decline in the analytics bar: until you accept, PostHog keeps no cookie or stored ID in your browser and records no sessions, and Decline keeps it that way. If you accept, session recordings may be kept with typed text, captured content and stories hidden. In the extension, clicks are not recorded automatically. Analytics never includes your captured content, sources, prompts or AI output, capture events record only the site's domain (such as chatgpt.com), and analytics code is not loaded into the pages you capture from. It is turned off when your browser sends Do Not Track. Captured content is used to provide the requested capture, explanation, storage, sharing and account features. Extension code, rendering libraries and fonts are bundled locally; model output is treated as data, not executed as remote code. Any optional Brain webhook receives a note only when you configure that destination and choose to push it.

Limited Use and contact

Infograph's use and transfer of captured user data is limited to its prominently described user-facing features and the permitted support, security and legal exceptions under Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements. Captured content is not used for personalized advertising or routine human review.
